Conferences
I became a member of the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA) in 2001, and I presented papers at all annual meetings ever since. See my next co-organised session for the 15th meeting in Riva del Garda. In 2010 I will take it easy after a string of successful sessions and present only a paper at the EAA meeting.
I was present also at the XV UISPP Congress, and have been at the World Archaeological Congress, WAC-6 in Dublin. At some point in my life I decided to write a humorous report of my participation at the XV UISPP congress, which by great request was then followed by a second report of the 2006 EAA conference. A further humorous report can to be found in TEA 32. I should add that I also do serious reports.
I have also organised a session on exotica in the prehistoric Mediterranean at the thirteenth EAA meeting and I am editing a volume that will be published by Oxbow Books in 2010. More information is available on a separate page.
